If you would like to know more about Stuie please ask. If you would like a deminstration on how Stuie keeps Jasmine safe. Please ask. I ask you not to yell, curse, scream or thraten to hit me. This will not end well. Stuie isn't about me or you. Jasmine's allergies are not about me or you. This is all about Jasmine and Stuie, thier life together. Stuie is all about keeping Jasmine safe. How can anyone be angry about that? Doesn't Jasmine deserve to go out to eat, shop for groceries, a pair of earrings? Do you know it has been about ten years since Jasmine has shopped for fresh fruits and veggies? Most stores keep peanuts and tree nuts there. Since Jasmine is allergic to contact, we never knew if there was peanut oi on other foods. Now we have Stuie! We KNOW. Stuie tells us. Life is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have looked the other way to business' that didn't want us there with Stuie. I have stopped shopping at some business' because I am too darn nice. I don't want to turn you in for breaking the law. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. Someone threatened me, wanted to hit me over using Stuie. That is it. The police are now involved. We will go wherever we want, whenever we want. No more tiptoeing through the daisies. I have talked to managers of stores, the police. I will be talking to the US Department of Justice Civil Rights Division. I will not make more excuses for a small community that refuses to support a 18 year old in her fight for independence.

Craft It Forward

I saw this on SEW MUCH TO MAKE SEW LITTLE TIME. I think it awesome!

The first eight people who make comments on this blog post will get something from me. The rules are as follows:

1. What I will create will be personalized and intended for you.

2. It will be done this year (2009).

3. You will have no idea waht it is going to be. It may be crocheted, painted, papercraft, sewn, embroidered, beaded. Or I might bake you something and mail it to you. Very exciting indeed! You won't know until you recieve it.

The catch is, you must do the same thing over on your blog too.

So...... post a comment and see what comes your way!

Grass Roots Recession Busting

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pass on the savings to others! My son's piano teacher informed me that she was dropping the price of piano lessons for all of her students by $5 a lesson due to the recession. I told her that the only way I knew to thank her was to pass the savings on to someone else.

I take care of my sister's little girl while she and her husband are at work. They offered to pay $25 a day. In order to keep my promise to the piano teacher, I dropped what I charge my sister by $5 a day - upon the agreement that, when she finds the opportunity to do so, she needs to pass the savings along to someone else.

Pass it on!

I am taking $5 off a special order of Happy Pads. I know my customer will pass this forward!
